This dual sim card holder lets you put two sims in one phone. 15th Generation Holder lets you switch using your phone's menu rather than dialing 001 or 002. It also supports call forwarding, so calls should be received regardless of which sim you are using. Only one sim can be online at one time, but you can set the adaptor to forward calls from the offline sim.
To use the sim holder you need to cut your original sim cards and place them in the aluminium holder. The phone will then detect both sims and you will be able to switch between them. The dual sim adaptor will enable you to switch by dialing certain numbers on your keypad. Please note that you cannot use the sim cards simultaneously, but you will be able to switch between them without removing/replacing the sim. You also do not need to turn off the phone to switch sims. There is also an auto-switching mode so that you can automatically switch at a given time, great if you get a cheaper call rate off-peak on another tariff. 15th Generation sim holder switches using a menu, rather than dialing. This comes complete with instructions, sticky pads and a template for cutting out your sim card. It also has "empty" plastic sim cards - so you can still use the sim card normally if you no longer require the dual adaptor. You simply place the part you've cut out into the empty sim card and use as normal. The unit is ultra slim and should fit most phones however we cannot guarantee compatibility with any particular model of phone. We have a compatiblity sheet here, but please note that this is a rough guide only.
The unit is also compatible with 3G sims Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs to your sim card as a result of cutting it. We will also not guarantee that your handset will be compatible with this dual sim holder. |
