This card reader lets you move the pictures or data on your memory card to your computer, quickly and easily. If you've lost your camera cable, or need to transfer files from a number of different devices or cameras - this product totally does away with the need for device cables. It also does not require any software installation and will work with most computers. You can therefore take it anywhere with you, without having to install camera drivers on each computer you encounter. Finally, the card reader can move files across to your computer much more quickly than via the device itself. It will work with either USB 1 or USB 2, taking advantage of speedier USB 2 where available.
